The following is a short biography
sent to us from RCBS.
Kent's love affair with shooting and firearms began during his
childhood when he would shoot birds out of his mother's fruit
trees. After graduating high school in 1983, Kent joined the
United States Army and served four and a half years as a
Communications Specialist and Unit Armorer. From 1988 to 1989,
Kent spent this time learning the ropes in retail and wholesale
firearms sales. In order to become a more rounded salesman he
taught himself to hand load rifle and pistol cartridges. He
went on to become a Manufacturer's Representative in the
sporting goods/firearms industry for next 13 years. The last
seven of these years he specialized in law enforcement sales and
training, for ATK's L.E. Division, conducting wound ballistic
seminars throughout the West. In June of 2002, Kent took the
position of Product Line Manager for RCBS. Kent has shot PPC
revolver and registered trap for many years using his own
reloads during competitions. Kent has been teaching reloading
clinics since 1991 and has personally enjoyed the reloading
hobby for over 20 years. Kent, wife Diane and daughter Kaiya
reside in Oroville, California.
